From Thursday, December 9th to Saturday, December 11th, the Varsity Girls Basketball team participated in the Van Horn Basketball Tournament. The Lady Warriors defeated each of their 3 opponents by an average of 26.67 points and outscored their opponents 175-95!

The Marfa Shorthorns were defeated 56-30 on Thursday night (Leading scorers: #25 McKenzie Hart with 18 points)!

The Lady Warriors defeated Balmorhea, Friday evening, by a score of 64-32 (Leading scorers: #30 Hannah Ayala with 29 points, #4 Juliana Hernandez with 17 points, and #25 McKenzie Hart with 16 points)! The Varsity Girls Basketball team would face the Presidio Lady Devils in the Championship game and win 55-33 (Leading scorers: #30 Hannah Ayala with 20 points, #4 Juliana Hernandez with 13 points, and #5 Sofia Gomez with 12 points)!

#30 Hannah Ayala, #4 Juliana Hernandez, and #5 Sofia Gomez received All-Tournament honors! The Lady Warriors now hold a record of 10-0! Details of their next game are TBD.
