From Thursday, December 16th to Saturday, December 18th, the Varsity Girls Basketball team participated in the Tornillo Basketball Tournament. The Lady Warriors would face some of the stiffest completion of the season in their first two games in Tornillo.

Their first opponent, the Da Vinci Lady Dragons were defeated 42-36 on Thursday night (Leading scorers: #30 Hannah Ayala with 27 points, 22 rebounds)!

The Lady Warriors defeated Ft. Hancock, Friday evening, by a score of 42-34 (Leading scorers: #4 Juliana Hernandez with 19 points, 6 steals; #30 Hannah Ayala with 10 points, 16 rebounds)!

The Varsity Girls Basketball team would face the Tornillo Lady Coyotes in the Championship game and win 41-13 (Leading scorers: #4 Juliana Hernandez with 14 points. 9 steals; #30 Hannah Ayala with 10 points, 10 rebounds)!

#30 Hannah Ayala was named Tournament MVP, while #4 Juliana Hernandez, and #5 Sofia Gomez received All-Tournament honors! The Lady Warriors now hold a record of 13-0 going into Christmas break!
