On Monday, December 6th, the ICS Varsity Girls Basketball Team traveled to Van Horn to face the Lady Eagles! They would defeat Van Horn by a score of 41-18! #5 Sofia Gomez had 14 points on the night, with the help of 4 three-pointers! Usual starters #0 Danytza Canales and #4 Juliana Hernandez were both unavailable with injuries. #3 Ariana Vazquez is still nursing a foot injury. The ICS Varsity Girls Basketball team now hold a record of 7-0 and will look to continue the win streak on Thursday, December 9th, at 5 PM (CST) when they will travel to Van Horn to participate in the Van Horn Basketball Tournament. They will face the Marfa Shorthorns in the first round.
