On October 13th, ICS earned its first win of the season, in a 56-7 route of Ft. Hancock!
#1 Ricky Reyna threw for 199 yards and 5 touchdowns in the win. #13 Chris Nelson and #99 Jonas Laffan were each on the receiving end of 2 of those touchdowns, while #5 Brayden Reyna had 1 touchdown and led the team in receiving yards with 72 yards. #3 Benjamin Frecka led the team in rushing yards with 81 yards and had 1 touchdown. #11 Dicky Guillen had 50 yards rushing and 1 touchdown.Â
On defense, #11 Guillen had 6 tackles, including 1 sack and 1 tackle for loss. #23 Ismael Gutierrez had a sack, tackle for loss, and a safety. #5 B. Reyna and #33 Chris Munoz each had 2 interceptions for the Warriors.Â
The Warriors picked up a game against Da Vinci on October 20th, and lost by a score of 20-42. A recap on that game may be forthcoming.Â
The Varsity Football team will complete their regular season agains the Da Vinci Dragons for Homecoming on Friday, October 27th!
