Our Varsity Men's and Women's participated in the Truman Wills Invite at Austin High School this past weekend.
On the Men's side, Junior Josiah Johnson had a big day, taking 1st in Varsity long jump (21' 4"), 300m Hurdles (39.34), and 100m Hurdles (14.96). Junior Israel Quintana also had a 10th place finish in the Varsity 1600m run (4:49.98) and a 7th place finish in the Varsity 3200m run (10:23.98). Freshman Dicky Guile finished 9th in the Freshman 3200m run with a time of 14:22.41.
On the Women's side, Senior Danielle Nelson finished 6th in the Varsity 100m Hurdles (20.11) and 8th in the Varsity 300m Hurdles (58.31). Junior Aliana Elkabchi finished 10th in Open Long Jump with a distance of 12' 9"; Freshman Yareli Lopez finished 4th in Freshman Long Jump with a distance of 12' 2".
