Our Varsity Men's and Women's participated in the Jim Omohundro Invitational this past Saturday!
The Varsity Men took 10 place as a team while the Varsity Women finished 11th.
On the Men's side, Junior Josiah Johnson set a new PR for himself in Varsity 300m Hurdles and finished first with a time of 38.22. He also took 1st in Varsity long jump (21' 8.5") and Varsity 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.91. Junior Israel Quintana also had a 8th place finish in the Varsity 1600m run (4:38.39) setting a new PR for himself and an 8th place finish in the Varsity 3200m run (10:27.25). Freshman Christian Dulanto ran a 11:41.39 and finished 10th in the Open 3200m run.
On the Women's side, Junior Aliana Elkabchi took 6th in Open Long Jump (12' 9") and Freshman Yareli Lopez took 9th (12'6.5"); she also PR'd in 100m dash with a time of 14.92. Senior Danielle Nelson PR'd in Long Jump with a distance of 13' 0.5" and the 200m with a time of 31.05.
