Our Varsity Men's and Women's track team participated in the Jesus Chapel Invitational at Austin High School on April 15th!

For the Men, Junior Josiah Johnson took 1st in the 200m dash (22.90), 800m run (2:07.11), and Discus (106' 2"). Junior Israel Quintana took 1st in the 1600m run with a time of 4:51.64, and second in the 800m run with a time of 2:10.27. Freshman John Underwood set a new PR and took 1st in the 100m dash with a time of 12.55. Freshman Jonas Laffan took 2nd in shot put with a throw of 27' 4". 

On the Women's side, Senior Sofia Gomez took 1st in shot put with a throw of 29' 6". Freshman Yareli Lopez took 2nd in the 400m dash and se t a new PR of 1:09.92.
