On August 22nd, the Lady Warriors traveled to Santa Teresa, NM, to face the Desert Warriors.
The Desert Warriors would come out victorious by a score of 2-3 (20-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 12-15).Â
#3 Ariana Vazquez had a big night on offense with 24 kills and a 33% kill percentage; she had 4 aces on the night. #17 McKenzie Hart had 14 kills of her own. #3 Vazquez had 22 digs on the night, while #1 Leah Fox had 19 of her own, along with 27 serve receptions. #16 Mia Bell had 42 assists and 0 ball handling errors in the competition.Â
