The ICS Varsity Women's Volleyball team started their most competitive schedule in program history with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-15) win over the Da Vinci Dragons!
ICS Senior and Newcomer Andrea Ortega led the Warriors with 11 kills and Senior Ariana Vazquez finished the night with 9 kills. Ortega led the team in aces with 5 on the night. Sisters Olivia and Mia Bell combined for 4 blocks. Vazquez led the team in digs with 5, while Junior Yareli Lopez and Sophomore Carla Sousa each contributed 4 digs. Senior Mia Bell was responsible for 28 assists. Junior Newcomer Grace Jackson led the team in serves received, racking up 17 receptions.Â
The Warriors will now travel to Wink, TX to participate in the Wink Best of the West Tournament beginning on Friday at 10a.Â
