The Immanuel Christian Warriors Cross Country team delivered a standout performance at the TCAF Championship held on October 17 in Boyd, TX. The men's team captured the championship title, while the women continued to gain momentum in a highly competitive field.
In the Men's 5,000-meter run, sophomore John Urrieta placed 3rd overall with a time of 19:06.69. Senior Christian Dulanto was right behind him in 4th place, clocking 19:29.10. Seniors Sebastian Montes and junior Jeremiah Gomez followed, finishing 8th (22:29.52) and 9th (22:35.31) respectively. Together their efforts secured the team victory at the meet.
On the women's side, sophomore Karla Ibuado delivered a strong 3rd-place finish in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 15:46.43, while senior Jeual Castruita placed 8th crossing in 17:55.77.
This achievement caps a season of consistent progress and teamwork for the Warriors, and marks a high point in their 2025 campaign.
