The Immanuel Christian Warriors Varsity Tennis team took on tough competition in a quad-match on January 28th at Socorro High School, facing off against the Socorro Bulldogs, Hanks Knights, and Eastlake Falcons. The Warriors put forth a strong effort, securing several impressive individual victories throughout the day.

Match Results & Individual Highlights

The Warriors found success across boys' singles, girls' singles, and doubles play, with multiple players stepping up in competitive matches.

Boys' Singles

    •    Patricio Jimenez went undefeated, winning two hard-fought matches 8-4, 9-7.

    •    Adrian Carrillo secured a clutch victory in a close match 7-5.

    •    Gael Valenzuela played well, earning two wins 8-6, 8-5.

    •    Gabe Torres added another singles victory for ICS, winning 6-1.

    •    Roman Gomez fought hard but fell 3-8.

Girls' Singles

    •    Ana Terrazas continued her dominant form, winning both of her matches in commanding fashion 8-0, 8-0.

    •    Grace Johnson delivered a solid performance, earning a 6-3 victory.

    •    Nicole Haro battled through two tough matches but fell 5-8, 3-8.

    •    Jeual Castruita faced strong opponents, falling 0-8, 0-8.

    •    Kristen Duarte played a competitive match but came up short 3-6.
