The Immanuel Christian Warriors Varsity Tennis team had a standout showing at the 2025 Fort Hancock Tennis Tournament, held on February 28th and March 1st. Bringing home multiple titles and top finishes across singles and doubles play, the Warriors—led by a dominant performance from the girls' team—made their mark against tough regional competition.

Individual Match Results
Boys' Singles
Patricio Jimenez went on a strong run, winning matches 8-0 and 8-4 on Day 1, then picking up another win before falling in the final to finish as the 2nd Place Boys Singles Medalist. Gael Valenzuela received a first-round bye but lost in the next round 2-8.
Girls' Singles
Ana Terrazas was dominant throughout the tournament. After a first-round bye, she posted wins of 8-0, 8-1, and added two more victories on Day 2 to claim the Girls Singles Championship. Gaby Stephens and Jeual Castruita both battled in the early rounds but fell short. Kristen Duarte won a bye, then dropped her next two matches (2-8, 5-7).
Boys' Doubles
Gabe Torres and Gerard Flores received a first-round bye but lost their second-round match (0-6, 0-6), then came up short again on Day 2.
Girls' Doubles
Grace Johnson and Alyna Rico had an outstanding tournament, winning 6-3, 6-1 in their first match after a bye, then securing two more victories on Day 2 to earn the Girls Doubles Title.
Mixed Doubles
Roman Gomez and Hannah Silva-Sampaio received a bye in the opening round but lost their next match 3-6, 2-6. They fell again on Day 2 to close out their tournament run.
Looking Ahead
The Warriors' performance at Fort Hancock showed growth, depth, and championship-level play. With three major titles and a runner-up finish, Immanuel Christian continues to build momentum and confidence heading into the final stretch of the season.
