#ICYMI: Immanuel Christian Cruises to Victory Over Lydia Patterson

The Immanuel Christian Warriors battled their way to a hard-fought 54-48 victory over the Lydia Patterson Lions in an intense away game. The Warriors started strong, outscoring the Lions 17-10 in the first quarter, setting the tone for a competitive matchup. While Lydia Patterson made steady attempts to close the gap, Immanuel Christian held firm, maintaining their lead throughout the contest.  

Carlos Acuña and Ben Story led the Warriors in scoring, each contributing 13 points. Acuña was instrumental on both ends of the floor, recording five assists, eight steals, and three blocks while also shooting a perfect 100% from the free-throw line. Alan Valenzuela added 14 points, shooting 43% from beyond the arc, and pulled through at the free-throw line, making three of his five attempts.  

Jayson Chang provided solid support with six points and five rebounds, while Brayden Reyna contributed five points on an efficient 67% shooting from the field. The team combined for eight three-pointers, shooting 30% from beyond the arc, while also converting 59% of their free throws. Despite committing 20 turnovers, the Warriors' aggressive defense forced key mistakes from the Lions, with 12 total steals and three blocks proving crucial in securing the win.  

The Warriors demonstrated resilience, controlling the pace of the game and capitalizing on key moments to stay ahead. Their balanced offensive attack and defensive pressure helped them grind out the victory on the road.
