On February 3rd, Immanuel Christian defended their home court at Dave Frazier Memorial Gym, securing a 69-63 victory over the Rose of Sharon Eagles in a hard-fought contest. The Warriors displayed balanced scoring and key defensive stops to hold off their opponent down the stretch.  

Immanuel Christian started strong, taking a 19-15 lead after the first quarter. The Eagles responded with a 21-point second quarter, narrowing the gap as both teams headed into halftime in a close contest.  

Carlos Acuña led the Warriors in scoring with 15 points, hitting five field goals and going a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line. Jaden Ortiz contributed 11 points, knocking down two three-pointers and providing a steady presence on both ends of the court. Alan Valenzuela added 18 points, leading all scorers with his aggressive play and ability to finish at the rim. Noah Ayala dominated the glass with 12 rebounds, showcasing his ability to control the paint.  

Defensively, the Warriors made key plays, totaling 11 assissts and 7 steals as a team, forcing the Eagles into tough possessions. Despite a strong push from Rose of Sharon in the third quarter, Immanuel Christian kept their composure and executed in crunch time.  

The Warriors outscored the Eagles 20-17 in the third quarter, giving themselves a cushion heading into the final frame. A strong defensive effort in the fourth quarter helped seal the victory as Immanuel Christian maintained their composure at the free-throw line and controlled the tempo in the closing minutes.
