The Warriors opened tournament play against the Chapin Huskies, falling in straight sets 10-25, 17-25. Junior Carla Sousa-Travieso led with 4 kills, while sophomore Jade Garcia and senior Yareli Lopez each added 2 kills. Lopez also anchored the defense with 10 digs and 19 receptions, and Sousa-Travieso contributed 5 digs and 11 receptions. Setter Lilia Ramirez tallied 5 assists, and junior Aubrie Donahue scored 2 aces from the service line.
Consolation Bracket – Friday, August 22

On day two, the Warriors faced the Canutillo Eagles in the consolation round. ICS battled but fell 22-25, 17-25. Lopez paced the attack with 4 kills and 5 digs, while Munoz added 3 kills and Garcia, Donahue, and Sousa-Travieso chipped in 2 apiece. Ramirez directed the offense with 11 assists.
Defensively, Lopez and Kern combined for 19 receptions, while Kern tallied 3 digs and Donahue added 3 of her own. Garcia and Sousa-Travieso each contributed a block at the net. From the service line, Lopez served 2 aces with 6 points total, while Garcia added another ace and 4 points.
