Warriors Surge Past Fort Davis for Second Straight Victory

The Immanuel Christian Warriors hit the road on Friday, September 12, and delivered a dominant performance, defeating the Fort Davis Indians 64–20. The victory pushes the Warriors to 2–1 on the season heading into their bye week.

The Warrior offense continued its explosive start to the year, piling up 358 total yards—193 on the ground and 165 through the air. Senior Benjamin Frecka and junior Brayden Reyna split time under center, combining for 165 passing yards and 5 touchdowns. Frecka was a perfect 4-for-4 passing with 61 yards and 2 scores, while Reyna added 104 yards and 3 touchdowns through the air.

Reyna also led the rushing attack with 128 yards on 16 carries, including a 21-yard burst, while sophomore William Mack contributed 33 rushing yards. Frecka added 22 yards on the ground, and senior Ismael Gutierrez punched in a rushing touchdown.

The receiving corps spread the wealth as four different Warriors found the end zone. Jeremiah Alarcon hauled in 3 passes for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns. Frecka showed his versatility with 3 receptions for 44 yards and a score, while Gutierrez and senior Aiden Kiniery each added touchdown grabs.

Defensively, the Warriors were anchored by strong efforts across the field. Alarcon led the way with 7 tackles and added an interception, while Frecka and Gutierrez each chipped in 3 tackles. Senior Adam Garduna and Jonas Laffan also added stops to help contain the Fort Davis offense.

Gutierrez was highly efficient on special teams, converting all but one of his PAT attempts.

With back-to-back convincing wins, the Warriors are carrying momentum into their bye week. Immanuel Christian will return to action on Friday, September 26, when they face the Da Vinci Dragons.
