Warriors Power Past Rockets in Four-Set Road Victory

Immanuel Christian hit the road Friday night for a matchup against the Irvin Rockets, pulling off an impressive four-set victory (25–20, 20–25, 25–21, 25–22). The Warriors showed balance across the floor, combining powerful hitting, steady serving, and gritty defense to close out their week with another win.

Carla Sousa-Travieso once again led the Warriors' offense, recording 17 kills on 48 swings to pace the attack. She was joined by Lucia Muñoz, who added 12 kills, and Jade Garcia, who put down 9 while hitting .348. Maria Cordero provided another strong showing with 8 kills of her own, helping spread the offensive firepower.

From the service line, Lilia Ramirez stood out, tallying 12 points behind 20 serves with a 95% success rate. Maria Cordero chipped in 11 service points, while Muñoz added 10 and Addison Kern contributed 6 to round out a consistent serving performance. As a team, Immanuel registered 51 service points and held a 90.6% efficiency.

Defensively, Ramirez and Sousa-Travieso anchored the back row with 12 digs each, while Kern and Cordero both added 9. Yareli Lopez posted 8 digs of her own, helping keep long rallies alive. In serve-receive, Addison Kern handled a heavy load with 25 receptions, while Sousa-Travieso (17) and Cordero (13) provided steady passing to allow the Warriors to stay in system.

Ramirez also continued to excel as the team's primary setter, dishing out a career-best 39 assists on the night. Her ability to spread the ball across multiple hitters kept the Rockets' defense guessing throughout the match.
