The Immanuel Christian Warriors Cross Country teams took to the course on Saturday, September 20, at the Clint/Riverside Invitational hosted at Clint High School. With Varsity athletes in action, the Warriors gained more valuable race experience midway through the 2025 season.

In the Varsity Boys Division, senior Christian Dulanto led the charge for ICS, finishing 54th overall with a time of 19:41.58. Sophomore John Urrieta was close behind in 57th place at 19:51.81. Senior Sebastian Montes crossed in 85th place with a time of 24:03.84, followed by junior Jeremiah Gomez in 88th place (24:58.30). Senior Roman Gomez rounded out the Warriors lineup, finishing 92nd at 28:29.86.

On the girls' side, senior Jeual Castruita represented ICS in the Varsity Girls Division, running a time of 33:34.90 to place 56th overall.

The Clint/Riverside Invitational gave the Warriors another opportunity to push themselves against strong competition, as the team continues to prepare for the upcoming championship portion of the season. Their next race comes quickly, as ICS will compete tomorrow at the Andress Invitational, hosted at the Underwood Golf Complex.
