Immanuel Christian turned in a composed effort at the Eastwood JV Tournament on September 23 at Ascarate Golf Course's Delta 9, with all five boys logging 18 holes and ICS's lone girls entrant bringing home a podium finish.
Peter Novoa paced the boys with a 93 (+21) to place 11th. He closed three shots better on the inward nine (45) after a 48 on the front, stacking five pars on the card—including a clutch bounce-back par at 18 after trouble on 17—to anchor the Warriors' lineup.
Jase West added a 16th-place finish at 96 (+24), matching 48s on both sides. After a rocky start (8 at No. 1 and 6 at No. 2), he settled in with pars at 4, 5, 6 and 9, then kept the momentum going on the back with a birdie at the par-4 12th before a big number on 17 tempered an otherwise gritty close. Angel Lujan (99) took 24th, Mason Anaya (100) finished 27th, and Jorge Loya (106) placed 34th, giving ICS four scores inside a tight seven-shot window and a solid spread across the field.
On the girls' side, Scarlett Martinez turned in a superb runner-up performance, firing 96 (+26) from the women's setup (approximately 5,008 yards, par 70). She turned in 49–47 with four pars at 7, 12, 14 and 17, showing mid-round poise after a rough opening hole and holding firm through the closing stretch. Her steady middle nine anchored the round and capped a productive day for the Warriors program.
The compact scoring and late-round resilience—highlighted by Novoa's closing par and West's mid-round recovery—underscore a program trending in the right direction. With meaningful tournament reps across the roster and a podium on the girls' side, the Warriors leave Ascarate with momentum.
