The Immanuel Christian Warriors defended their home court in Dave Frazier Memorial Gym with a straight-set sweep of the Mesilla Valley Christian SonBlazers (25–23, 25–21, 25–21). The win showcased balance across the board, with both the front row and back row delivering steady performances to keep the SonBlazers at bay.

Junior Carla Sousa-Travieso led the way offensively, posting 13 kills on an impressive .478 hitting percentage while also contributing 14 digs for a double-double. Senior Lucia Muñoz followed with 10 kills on a sharp .400 efficiency, providing consistent production throughout the match. Sophomore María Cordero added 5 kills, while sophomore Jade Garcia chipped in with 3 to round out the balanced attack.

Sophomore setter Lilia Ramirez turned in another strong outing, finishing with 25 assists while running the offense. She also delivered from the service line with 4 aces on a perfect 20-for-20 serving night. Joining her at the line were Valeria Escobar (3 aces) and Sousa-Travieso (2 aces), as the Warriors tallied 10 aces as a team.

Defensively, the Warriors were anchored by Yareli Lopez, who tallied a 11 digs and handled 22 serve receptions. Sousa-Travieso's team-high 14 digs added to the back-row effort, while Garcia provided the lone blocks at the net, finishing with 2 solo blocks to disrupt the SonBlazers' hitters.

The Warriors' ability to side-out consistently and apply pressure from the service line proved decisive, as they closed out each set with poise. 

The Warriors will return to action during Homecoming Week, hosting El Paso Leadership Academy on Tuesday, September 30th at Dave Frazier Memorial Gym.
